Immediately you realize that this was a big mistake as you are not prepared for the wave of power that suddenly floats your body. You are ripped to pieces almost instantly! ripped to pieces by trying to claim power not meant for %s t& As you read the scroll you suddenly feel great power surging through your body. You feel invincible and your abilities are increased by enourmous amounts! Now you are a true champion of %s! φUεΉ Έ Another one, about the Red Rooster: You enter the Red Rooster Inn as the sun is just rising. Alganon, the innkeeper, welcomes you with great joy and honors you for helping the ancient dwarf. As a reward he grants you a long item wrapped in a sheet. He winks at you and mumbles "Ye know what'ta do with dat, don't ye?". Due to some urgent business Alganon then leaves. You enter the Red Rooster Inn. It's completely empty. Uεμ WVS‘# ΔψP‘# Then, another SoO mentioning: scroll of omnipotence ancient scroll And another one, this is, probably, the main (while reading Weird tome): manage to decipher the secret. It describes a means to find the scroll of omnipotence. have to %s to find it. That's it folks, also there is something about the Mad Minstrel and Filk, I think that MM REALLY "harbours a dark secret", as said in fortune cookies. He just wants the goddamned scroll, as Filk does. BTW, is it possible to give Filk the Weird Tome? Does Assassin prince gives you Filk's location? The strange thing is - it looks like, in code of ADOM, reading the scroll is like that: One function: You read the... Second: name of the scroll. And look here: You read the scroll of omnipotence. I like using wbrowze, really good hex-editor, word doesn't work well as wbroze does to me. What version was this? I NEVER looked at the adom source, always thought it WAS a spolier. you know, the strange item doesn't have any description in the game except what it looks like before picked up, just a tool. maybe it's some sort of key, or some type of looking glass to read the weird tome with. wish i had a character saved with that damned tome. for some reason i always pictured the SI as a twisted piece of metal, but there's really nothing to say what it looks like at all. has anyone asked thundarr about the SI? and the damned thing duplicates!!! what's that all about?? ooooh, maybe just maybe you have to put the strange item in several locations on the map!! yeah i bet it is a type of key that has to be in several locations at once. maybe in the "hole in the wall" town and umm...umm....somewhere else, hehe... jeez, so tough. well let's see it'd probably have to be in a place where monsters can't get to it and pick it up. but, that's what wands of door creation are for so... man i dunno [Edited 1 time, last edit on 12/6/2002 at 21:18 (GMT -5) by buttnugget] |

I tried doing that C, he wouldn't take it. Nor would he take the wierd tome. He took money, that's about it though. Oh yeah, and he didn't take instruments either. The Scroll of Omnipotence does not exist as an item in the game. I have mapped out all of the ID codes for every item in the game. They are some interesting items not known about, but no Scroll of Omnipotence. zad |
