how do you enter the bug temple in v.1.1.0 i have gone through over 50 characters with one closing the chaos gate, but i am still unable to enter... |

I think the requirement was increased a little. Also only characters generated after the temple have been "unlocked" are eable to enter. If your character was generated before you met the requirement it can't enter, ever. Jan Erik Mydland HoF admin |

Thanks for the info... Are you able to enter the bug temple? How many characters do you have? Is it to do with no. of characters completing the game? I was using the windows beta previously and I thought it may have been a bug (it is quite buggy overall). So I have now switched to the DOS version. (I have 6 entries so far, no winners yet.) |

You just have to generate many characters. You can quit them right off the start you don't have to play with them just generate a hundred chars and you'll surely get in. If you're feeling happy, don't worry, it'll go away. I think a hundred dead characters. But I am not sure. I beat the game only once, closed the gate, with my High Elven Archer. Besides I died many times in D:50, once starved to death in D:49, and THREE times killed by AnDoR dRaKoN. Man. |

I've got 100 dead chars, only managed to get 1 char to level 10, and still can enter bug temple. I don't think it matters how far you got. |

In v1.1.1, I've got over a hundred listings in the High Score list, and I still can not enter the bug ruins. May be a problem with the temple... You want to fight? Fight me! HAHAHA |

It was the first time I ever entered the bug ruins, I was invisible the bugs almost killed me (1.o) The BUG TEMPLE DOESN'T WORK OK! |

I don't savescum. They were all seperate games. And, even if I were a cheater, which i am not, don't you think "DIE" is a little too much? But I do scum a bit, if I got crowned with Fire immunity or got a good equipment that grants resistance or immunity, I go to ToEF and eat various giants to get strength. (But by the time i get 99 lots of days already had passed...not good for corruptions) But I stopped that when the stat adjustments through eating corpses had been toned down. And once I scummed bug temple, in 1.0.0. I heard that in 1.1.1 bug corpses are not as effective anymore. But I think Heir talent is good enough. |

First time I saw Drakor with a char. named Yovanne I was killed, the instant they got in there, the dude blasted them to death, and I was trying to be fair! This was about last year. BTW the contest was butterfinger.com (I think) get money from getting fat eating candy, and pay TB!
