Well, after you prove yourself by pickpocketing a lot, you can pay and learn and training Detect trap, disarm trap, climbing and whatnot. If you want to make sure you are safer, you should do it. But it's not really bad, since after killing him and Hotzenplotz the shop price will be halved. |
