Pray to God Seriously, if your piety is high enough, you can pray. If not, you can get it up to wear your respective god will remove it. |

Find a scroll of remove curse. Make sure the scroll itself isn't cursed (you can do this by dropping it on a friendly altar or reading a blessed scroll of identify) or it won't work. You can also uncurse items by blessing them. This is done by dipping them into holy water. If you are wearing multiple cursed items (or have lots in your inventory) you can uncurse all of them at once by reading a blessed scroll of remove curse. Only pray to your god to remove cursed stuff if you urgently have to remove it and can't do so in any other way. This is because have your god remove a curse uses up a lot of piety, meaning your god will like you a lot less and will be less likely to do other more useful favours for you such as healing you or stopping you from starving to death. You can raise your piety by sacrificing gold, monsters or good items at a friendly altar. [Edited 1 time, last edit on 1/15/2003 at 08:33 (GMT -5) by its author] |

He means how to get rid of himself being cursed. Sacc things to your god, he will remove curse (and doom) at "you feel very close to your diety" (at least he/she did in 1.0) A pessimist sees a dark tunnel. An optimist sees a light at the end of that tunnel. A realist sees a train. And the train driver sees three idiots on the tracks. |
