Recently i've had a thing for drakeling barbarians. A combination of that deadly acid vomit and true beserker bonus makes them super hard. Has anyone ever quantified the acid spit? It seems to be able to kill anything, i wandered into the bandit village at Lvl1 and became master of the thieves guild in 3 spits. |

Yeah, drakeling barbs are great. :) I've had two come close to finishing the game, one reaching D:50 and the other preparing to go there before dying a senseless death (due to me not paying attention to what I was fighting...) and I've never had any other character get anywhere near as far. (Although I did have a dwarf fighter who might have made it but I lost him when the game crashed.) I don't really use the true berserking much, apart from early on before I find good armour. The acid vomit however is great and I usually use it to kill Hotzenplotz as soon as I hit lvl 10. Starting with around 20 in St and To and decent scores in other stats is nice. :) I like their skills too. The ToEF isn't too hard to get past with some planning. If you're lucky enough to have something that gives you regen then it's a breeze. That leaves illiteracy as their only real weakness imo. |
