I am not sure what happened, but it seems my character (Drakeling wizard lvl 20) is permanently blind. I have never encountered anything like this before. What is going on? (And the message log was no help...I banged my head against the wall too many times.) It might not be permanent, but it sure lasts awfully long. It has been 20 days now. It is a major pain climbing up from infinite dungeon lvl 9 up to the surface when you are *blind* Imagine a carmic popsicle - First it is red and tastes like strawberry. Then it turns blue and tastes like blueberry. And if someone takes it from ye, he or she gets cursed and doomed. |

Are you sure your character didn't take a facial mud mask to get his skin to feel nicer and smoother? If that is the case you should just wipe your face clean. If you're feeling happy, don't worry, it'll go away. Can that cause blindness? Have to try it out. Edit: Oh yeah, that worked. You never stop learning... Imagine a carmic popsicle - First it is red and tastes like strawberry. Then it turns blue and tastes like blueberry. And if someone takes it from ye, he or she gets cursed and doomed. [Edited 1 time, last edit on 2/2/2003 at 09:51 (GMT -5) by ArcticWolf] |

The mud-in-the-face room has been made working in the new versions, earlier it didn't work. If you're feeling happy, don't worry, it'll go away. although it's weird - "suddenly everything disappears", but the PC remains blind It's very hard to be humble, when you are great. |

Everything disappears because the PC is blind, and can't see it :P A pessimist sees a dark tunnel. An optimist sees a light at the end of that tunnel. A realist sees a train. And the train driver sees three idiots on the tracks. |

Do you get an Ap boost for your skin being nice and smooth? =) |

yeah, when the mud hits you lose 1 Ap (for being muddy) and when you wipe it off you get +2 Ap, so in the end you get 1 more point in Ap than you had originally. |
