sometimes i encounter this weird message, while chatting with someone, even Old Barbarian, and when i give him/her food, he/she devours it. Also, what does "i'm so lonely" msg mean? It's very hard to be humble, when you are great. |

If you spend some time with the lonely one, your alingment changes towards the npc chatter with, I think. Imagine a carmic popsicle - First it is red and tastes like strawberry. Then it turns blue and tastes like blueberry. And if someone takes it from ye, he or she gets cursed and doomed. |

Those are the "two secret quests" - feed the hungry, and entertain the lonely. If you need a lawful boost, feed them, spend time with them. If not, just ignore it. A pessimist sees a dark tunnel. An optimist sees a light at the end of that tunnel. A realist sees a train. And the train driver sees three idiots on the tracks. |

I got that once from the Half-orc bouncer, then from a calmed (Calm monster) goblin. And I saw (not my game) a greater titan lonely :) Too bad there aren't any Death Knights in ADOM... or maybe not (Power Word, Kill wouldn't be a nice thing to die from ;P ) A pessimist sees a dark tunnel.
