Hello peoples. I'm a save scummer from way back so you can heap scorn upon my unworthy head while hurling invectives and epithets my way.

Level 20 Gnome Elementalist with a Karmic Dragon pet. Well, it was my pet. I left it alone in the Dwarven Village and now he is quite angry for some reason. I went back to him to chat a while and he attacked me. The problem is that he is quite buff now and ripped me a new one. That is to say he is quite powerful.

How do I tame him again? Is the Berzio potion my only option. He is bulldozing through dwarven children and causing a ruckus.

Why did he become so angry? Is it my bad karma coming back to haunt me from save scumming?

All familiars become angry after some time - only bards can have ever-lasting friends.
How to tame a dragon? That's a tough question - if you don't have "music", Calm monster (will it work? Propably not, but it's worth a try) then berzio potions is the only way I know of (dragons can't be tame with food).

An optimist sees a light at the end of that tunnel.
A realist sees a train.
And the train driver sees three idiots on the tracks.

I say you lead him out of the Dwarven Village before you kill or calm him (or shut him into a locked room... can dragons smash doors?).

At any rate, music only works on animals, which doesn't include dragons for some reason.

Is there a list anywhere of exactly what counts as an animal? E.g. are jackalweres and werewolves animals? Are uniques all immune to taming? (I'm wondering whether you could have a tame Snake from Beyond.)

Also, does your experience level compared to the experience level of the animal have any effect on whether you can tame it? I think it does, because my bards often have difficulty taming cats in the SMC, even with Music at 100.
