If you are lucky, your attributes are hmm...how do say it?...Well, if you can divide them with 7 you get one more talent. Though it doesn't happen very often. :| And the gift is (if I remember right) brutal mithril two-handed sword. It is really nice, but what do you do when someone disarms you? Well, I can tell you. You'll run and leave your great sword behind you with mass of evil monsters laughing at you back... That's one reason why I like elementalists. :P "When watching anime, never worry about the consequences." |

And like other heir items it's blessed! Also, as always it might be good to RTFM. I'll quote the manual(page 16 of my copy): "The initial number of talents is determined according to the following rules: - Every character receives one base talent. - Characters born under the sign of Falcon or Candle receive one free talent. - Characters with a Mana score of 18 or more receive one free talent. - Gnomes and hurthlings receive one free talent. - Bards, merchants and farmers receive one free talent. - Characters whose sum of attributes is divisable by 7 receive one free talent (this represents some inborn magical luck or talent)." So, with luck a gnomish bard (born in falcon/candle) could get 6 talents (Heir and treasure hunter from the get-go :O W00T!!!) If you're feeling happy, don't worry, it'll go away.
