umm my friend is in lil' trouble: he got "kill chaos knight" as his first dwarf-quest. Where can those be found? I've killed many dwarven chaos knights, but plain chaos knights are unfamiliar to me.

They can be found in the wilderness after you reach lvl 24 (or something)... Or CoC50. But if you get lucky, one might be lurking just under the dwarven city. If not that lucky, try from the dwarven mines.

Also, Cavern Levels above High Kings Tomb is a good place to find one.

Just to help you know, if you meet one - it's a grey "C", that's quite tough.

BTW - isn't there a guaranteed named chaos knight on lvl 66 of the infinite cave?

Nope, Chaos Warlord is a purple C, Chaos wizard is a dark grey C, Chaos Warrios is a grey C...
Damn it, my memory fooled me again. There is no visual way of knowing a Chaos Knight from a Dwarven Chaos Knight... Just got proof on that guaranteed C.K. - MaLaKaI is on the SIL level which is found only once about lvl 66 of the ID. He guards the scepter of chaos, so is quite tough.
