What's normal? :) They all level up at their own normal speed. Generally the weaker the race or class is the faster it levels up. For example gnome/farmer levels up fastest. Also, males level up faster than females. If you're feeling happy, don't worry, it'll go away. 'Weak' doesn't necessarily correspond to strength. At least it doesn't seem to be that way in this game :) Not counting the fact that I've no idea why TB made it the way it is, it seems logical as strength is easier to raise to a higher level than dex. Just mine out some giants. (what? you play a char without food pres.? fool! :) If you're feeling happy, don't worry, it'll go away.
