Pick lots of pockets to prove your talent as a thief, then he'll welcome you to the thieves' guild and be willing to teach you various thief skills (for a price). If you don't have the Pick Pockets skill, he'll normally teach it for free, but if you've been robbing shops he won't. (This is probably a bug.) |

Not only pickpocketing helps to prove yourself worthy of joining the thieves guild. You may pilfer shops as well to achieve it. "I want ye to slay a female goblin slavemaster ghul. Return to me when you have succeded." |
