I just passed through Dwarftown and found the stone golem guarding the Moon Sickle. He's a bit too tough for me now, so I lured in to an altar on the next floor. But when I sacrified it to Gnarl (I'm a lawful gnomish druid), it says "Nothing seems to happen". I'm already very close to my god and trying to get crowned. Why can't I sacrifice the golem? The stupid thing almost killed my druid! Taz: A potion of gain attributes (4s) is lying here. Suddenly a stone block hits your head! Something on the ground is smashed to pieces! PeanutGod: Awwww no! Why should you? He's just a walking piece or rock, there is nothing to sacrifice. No undead and contructs can be sacrificed (constructs - that's golems, elementals). A pessimist sees a dark tunnel. An optimist sees a light at the end of that tunnel. A realist sees a train. And the train driver sees three idiots on the tracks. |

Yes, but I guess that they won't go for the trouble to brake the creation spell just to get some rocks ;) (same goes for undead - you can sacrifice their corpses, but not unliving monsters). It propably has something to do with the necromancy bounding the souls to the undead bodies. Too much trouble dispeling the undead, and then taking its corpse - so they leave that to you ;P A pessimist sees a dark tunnel. An optimist sees a light at the end of that tunnel. Well, that's "easy" - just get The Trident or The Scepter, The Crown and The Amulet, then go the The Portal, cross it, kill ThE gOd and take his place :) A pessimist sees a dark tunnel.
