Currently playing a dark elven assassin, made it to the ID, started to explore the first level, and what should I come across but a stone spear of devastation (5d8+6)! I think my weapon choice has been made for me, at least for a while. ;) |

What I always do is going to the small cave and picking up the eternium halberd tht often happens to be there. Once i got sth. like "eternium halberd of devastation", so the weapon choice had been made for me also. |

i found a quarterstaff of devastation dropped by my first kill. outlaw in lawlienffathel. it got blown up by a trap in the id about 45 seconds later |
