Im pretty sure it improves tohit and damage bonus. Which is not technically dice. Like, you go from +10, 1d8+5 to +12, 1d8+7. So, dice(1d8) is the same innit? Its pretty easy to check out how much it gives. I personally rarely use it, but sometimes when I have a starting priest or healer with bless its somewhat useful untill you get direct damage spells to blow your PP on...I suppose when it improves by casting it does more damage to undeads, and lasts longer on self. Would be neat if it would give more bonus to hit and damage, but I guess it doesnt. Oh, and as the Bunny pointed out it can be used to damage undeads. It should work as normal on living pets, improving their hit and dam some. |
