Has anyone found a cure to that mud in your eyes?
It already killed 20 of my best chars. I just quit because praying doesn't seem to help.

Taz: A potion of gain attributes (4s) is lying here. Suddenly a stone block hits your head! Something on the ground is smashed to pieces!
PeanutGod: Awwww no! How harsh is that! This is where you need the artefact 'mop and bucket'.

did you learn that you can wipe your face from the manual/guidebook?

Whoops, i think i've misvoted.
I voted no.
But i remember that the first time i encountered the mudbath, i ran aruond blindly first, but, realising that that couldn't be the remedy, I decided to check all commands of the manual. Of course, when seeing the wipe face command, i thought i had to try it :D

i konw i read a lot of the manual before i started playing, not sure if it was the whole thing though. i did scan the keyboard commands, and "wiping face" was one i found weird, so that's why i remembered seeing it when hit on the face with mud.

I knew about that command but I didn't thought it helped, though it's logical.

I just printed out the commands when I first started and kept referring to the sheet. Much easier than reading the whole manual. That's how I got through my first encounter with a faceful of mud. Just went through all the commands on the sheet until one did something...

lol, i dont think you have to do that, as long as you look through what the command does, you'll think of it when you need it (eg: wiping face). you just have to be a good lateral thinker ;)

That's what I would have done, but I kept going over the list and NEVER SAW THE COMMAND! Even though it was sitting right there in front of me! Ever sit and read through something, then wonder "What the heck did I just read?", then read it again and get a totally differnet meaning out of the same material? Happens to me a lot...

Yeah, happens often, more often when reading to school exams :) Then it's more that I "read" the text, but after a sec remember nothing about it. It's like my eyes just scan the text without reading. So I'm just lookin at the page :D
