IIRC, one may find a climbing set in the gremlin cave (farthest southeast cave?) Be sure to have some sort of light source. Level 15...you should have no problem with Rehap, but check and see what underlings are with him. Some of his toadies can be nasty. lol, weird @ the more monsters of a certain type you kill (eg: jackals) the more experienced they get. until you get rats taht can punch through your armor and kill you in a few hits. the monsters that i find most common are jackals (wilderness encounters, i just avoid or run away from them as fast as possible), rats (wererats, i kill them as fast as possible, usually with missiles), spiders summoned by elven princesses/priestesses. retehep (spelling?) is not that hard, but some of his minions can be powerful. who was it that was talking about a vire vortex being generated in there and helping kill off half the monsters? yes, i know here finland is, next to sweden, above denmark ;) capital: helsinki Taz: A potion of gain attributes (4s) is lying here. i wrote "spelling" cuz i'm not sure if i spelt rehetep correctly. with jackals, i try to run to the closest edge of the map. depending on how fast my character can move (depends on speed and on certain item(s) you're wearing), he can outrun the jackals. you can also wait till most of hte jackals are around you then teleport somewhere else. if you have teleprot control, teleport to the edge of the map. if not, then hope you'll end up somewhere far from the jackals Taz: A potion of gain attributes (4s) is lying here. That was me Taz with the fire vortex:) Oh and just burning hand's(My fave spell) Rehep's ass, if your strong you can sometimes do it in one hit. 22 level Dark elven bard and still no amulet of life saving and all Ive got left is the water dragon:( |

Egg King, do you know how to kill the water dragon? Darken the area, go berserk, and beat on her with your best weapon (ideally a rustproof phase dagger or weapon of penetration). I've obtained an AoLS from her several times. |

You don't even have to kill her. Pick up the item you want and teleport to the stairs. I'm not sure if you can leave the leir or not when she's standing next to you in the dark, but if you can't just beat her until she flees, she won't retaliate in the dark. BTW,if you're not damaging her quickly, it means you're not ready to kill her, so resist the temptation follow her when she flees from the dark to finish her off or you'll end up dead quite quickly. If you're feeling happy, don't worry, it'll go away. throwing a potion of blindness or confusion at her helps when killing her. careful that she will still melee once in a while you when wandering around and that hurts too.
