i've never tried playing bards seriously. they always end up dying cuz of some careless accident before they reach level 5 :p
IIRC, elven bards start with faery dragons, which are pretty powerful.

Like I said in some other recent thread, and probably a dozen older ones, gnomish bards are the best. Amazing luck(bards+high mana), plus they can get Heir AND Treasure hunter talents easily(in fact, with some luck they can get them both at level 1 :P).

Just level up in the ID until you get bored (probably around when you get your char leveled up to about 6-10) and then go do the Terinyo quests. With the blessed seven league boots right from the start you can do all the scumming and walking around in the world and you'll still have plenty of game time left before you hit the 90 days limit.
If you're feeling happy, don't worry, it'll go away.

Well,it's a long story.About a troll named Bradley...but anyway,was that guy really Chris?

Earlier(during the flame-wars started by Chris),I sent an e-mail to Jan to complaint about him.Well, that was a long time ago...and altho Jan had replied,he hasn't taken any action yet,it seems.

I don't think it's Chris,anyway.

Fear me not,I'll go nice on you....For now.

Jan is probably busy.

He's probably going to (or doing) a IP check to see if Chris's and the spammers IPs are similar.

Pinpointing them to anywhere in Austrailia would probably be good enough.

For example, my IP is 69.22.111.***, which means I'm in Melbourne, Florida. http://www.geobytes.com/IpLocator.htm?GetLocation

It generally works reliably.

btw, i don't really like fairy dragons. They like to teleport a monster, then chasing it through the whole dungeon, then teleporting it again...

i dont think it was chris. the posts are not there anymore, and when i wrote my last message in this thread earlier this morning i forgot to check the time that the idiot's posts were written. i have a feeling that they were in the middle of the night my time and australia time (not much difference). but let's let jan decide on that.

you could always tell the faery dragon to follow you instead ;)

any beginning pet would, hehehe.
but if karmics are not teleport resistant and the fairy dragon teleports it away, that's the best (or most annoying if you want to kill it) thing that a starting pet can do

And Fairy Dragons could breath elemental stuff, which does considerable damage to enemies. They're quite good pets,I must say.

By the time you meat karmic dragons you'll be able to teleport them away yourself. Better yet, teleport yourself and have some means of teleport control.

Talkin' about dragons, not lizards here... ;) And you know you lose fate smiles/lucky and gain cursed/doomed when fighting karmics, don't you?

If you've got even a moderately developed magic missile spell by the time you find karmic dragons, you shouldn't have too many problems.

Karmic Dragons can be killed by Death Ray. Karmic Wyrms cannot. Useful to know.
