I'm playing a Drakish beastfighter and my normal speed is about 107, but when I was fighting Lii-Hong-Kay it sank down to under 100, but it was back to 107 after about 50 turns. Could anyone explain it. "I don't know what World War 3 will be fought with, but I know World War 4 with be fought with sticks and stones." - Albert Einstein |

Yes, you're a drakeling. Cold slows them down, and heat speeds them up, but the effect wears off after a while at a normal temperature. Have fun racing around the Tower of Eternal Flames (but be prepared for the extreme heat to damage you)! |

Yes, play a really old version. One in paticular has a major advantage for drakelings. Speed gained from heat doesnt decrease after time. Cant give you the version off the top of my head |

You don't have to go far back in the versions. Just play 1.0.0 and scum the bugcave for corpses. If you're feeling happy, don't worry, it'll go away.
