Guess so. IIRC I once pick pocketed whirlwind but can't remember 100 % sure. Sytytä toiselle tuli ja hän pysyy lämpimänä jonkin aikaa. Sytytä hänet palamaan ja hän pysyy lämpimänä loppuelämänsä. |

in addition, the bracers of war (i think) and Ironfist gauntlets can be picked. I believe that if it can be pickpocketed as a non artifact, it can be picked as an artifact. That is why you can pickpocket artifact bows, swords, books, etc. can bracers be picked? Methinks so at the moment the biz |

Pickpocketing means generating an item. Any item. Artefacts too. A pessimist sees a dark tunnel. An optimist sees a light at the end of that tunnel. A realist sees a train. And the train driver sees three idiots on the tracks. |

These are the only artifacts pickpocketable. (Thanks to ToGU, for his excellent info which I shamelessly copy/pasting) the heavy crossbow "The Far Slayer" the obsidian quarrel "Thunderstroke" the scorched spear the hammer of the gods the rune-covered club "Skullcrusher" the glaive "Long Sting" the bracers of war the rune-covered sling "Whirlwind" the fine leather armor "Nature's Companion" the jet-black battle axe "Executor" the robes of resistance the staff of the archmagi the ring of immunity the rune-covered heavy mace "Purifier" the medium obsidian shield "Protector" the sapphire amulet "Preserver" the crown of leadership the dwarven pick axe "Hammerhead" the iron gauntlets "Ironfist" the black tome of Alsophocus the shining long spear "Soaker" the emerald dagger "Serpent's Bite" the rune-covered halberd "Wyrmlance" "If God did not exist, it would be necessary to invent him."- Voltaire "Better to reign in Hell, than serve in Heaven."- John Milton, Paradise Lost "Yesterday we obeyed kings and bent our necks before emperors. But today we kneel only to truth, follow only beauty, and obey only love."- Kahlil Gibran "I may disagree with what you have to say, but I shall defend, to the death, your right to say it."- Voltaire. Actually, I don't believe you can pickpocket anything which weighs more than 10s, which rules out most of those artifacts. |

"anything which weighs more than 10s" - then why do I keep pickpocketing potions and scrolls? :P A pessimist sees a dark tunnel. An optimist sees a light at the end of that tunnel. A realist sees a train. And the train driver sees three idiots on the tracks. |

thieves can pick better stuff, right? it'd make sense they'd pick heavier too. never made it with a thief, but I'll have to test. anyway, most items that are picked are scrolls, potions, slings, wands, knives and that kind. mostly light objects. And my point was... |

Ekaterin is right, but I haven't got any real experience in the thief class power other than that I know they most certainly CAN pickpocket artifacts.. presumably the limit does not apply. Perhaps non-thieves is "any item, <=10s" and thieves with the class power is "any item" |

"Perhaps non-thieves is "any item, <=10s" and thieves with the class power is "any item" " Bull*** my friend, do you think I've ever bothered with a thief? Most scrolls I get is from pickpocketing, and most of my chars fit in the "Female Assassing/male Barbarian" category. A pessimist sees a dark tunnel. An optimist sees a light at the end of that tunnel. A realist sees a train. And the train driver sees three idiots on the tracks. |

Did you listen to a single word I said, or where you just waiting all day for an excuse to swear using stars? Name me a scroll which weighs over 10s? Are you even on the same wavelength as me? Planet? |

No, just mixed up "<" and ">". A pessimist sees a dark tunnel. An optimist sees a light at the end of that tunnel. A realist sees a train. And the train driver sees three idiots on the tracks. |

I remember Dougy (wonder what happened to him) saying that he pickpocketed an anvil once... obviously it was a miniature anvil that only weighed a 100th of a typical example. Don't remember what character it was with though. Oh well. Let this account be a lesson to you all - Remember your password! |
