Do monks get some strange bonus for using robes? I started playing a human monk, leveled to 7 in ID wearing robes [0,+1]. DV was 22, PV 1. Then I found a regular studded leather armor (-1,+0) [-1,+3] and wore it. DV changed to 17 and PV to 3. I didn't get any burden levels, so that can't affect it. Anyone? I don't have any other guess than that monks would get some bonus for using robes...sounds, well uhm a bad guess. |

they don't get bonuses for wearing robes, they get penalties for wearing anything else. (anything other than robes, clothes, and elven chain mail afaik). |

I don't think so, because the ancient mummy rappings give a penelty (60s?), while the ultra heavy elven chain mail (80s) gives no penalty. I may be mistaken, though. "Not Zeus himself nor any other Power Shall save this madman who defies the Gods!"---Phoebus Apollo |
