Has anyone actually done this? I seem to remember successfully descending once, but that was around gamma 8. The Guidebook mentions the two quickling-related corruptions as being useful, or even necessary to get down there without breaking stuff. Any comments? The one who is good at shooting does not aim for the center of the target. |

I don't think the 2 corruptions are necesarry. those are necesarry for quickling tree. For the Horde! |

go down there with minimal items, and hope that nothing breaks. but you should be a powerful character at this point. I usually go there with the items im wearing, some food, spenseweeds, and a scroll of chaos resistance, maybe wand of digging and a means of teleport. |

I've done it only with a hacked char, had climbin 100 and stats near 30 all. Lucky and Fate Smiles and a blessed Climbing Set. Got down unharmed. |

It has been done, and without cheats, I recall. The quickling related corruptions? I don't know. All I know is.. 1) Bless your climbing set, 2) Don't take anything down with you you're afraid of breaking.. leave those potions of gain attributes behind, eh? |
