Gained invisibility from a pool on my Drakish thief but now can't gain admittance to fight in the arena. Looking for suggestions to lose the invisibility, preferrably temporarily, so I can go in and become the champ. Thx |

Has anyone tried using cursed cloaks/rings of invisibility? That would be useful, because blessed pots of visibility last for hardly any time (about two arena fights iirc) What do you wish for? wands of cat repellent_ [Edited 1 time, last edit on 3/23/2004 at 08:50 (GMT -5) by Alex] |

won't make visible. just cursed =). IIRC cursed !o invisibility makes blind... not sure. IMO !o boost stats should reduce the stat for a while instead of increasing it just a bit for a short while... anyway... And my point was... |

A cursed potion of visibility might make you visible longer. Since being visible is considered bad, a cursed one should make you visible longer. Kinda like a cursed stomoceptia is more powerful than a blessed one. |

It is possible to clear the arena with 2-3 potions of visibility if you are very fast (sp:150 or better) and use monster detection and teleport to clear each fight in 3-4 turns. I think tb should toss in like a ring or cloak of visibility so you could be visible if you have the intrinsic invisibility. People stabbed in the face don't talk much

I just never drink from pools until I have easy access to an altar and the ankh, and I'm done the arena quest. Better safe than sorry. I don't like invisibility anyway, makes you go after each monster individually. |
