Just about to pass thought the chaos gate and make my very first attempt at a ultra ending and you guessed, it 291 signal error. Does anyone know if its possible to recover from this(I suspect I'm screwed but anythings worth a try)? PS And dont say load your backup game or I will stab you in the face with a rusty spoon:) |

That really sucks. I feel sorry for you... I quit Adom (uh, for a day, but I did quit!) when I encountered a crash when saving Khelavaster. Adom often says sorry though and I did get 7LB from very first goblin I killed in the next game. :) |

Yeah well I did get 2 pairs of 7Lbs and a RoDS in the UD then managed to finish it with an Ultra on the next game (Plus I may get a really high paying job), so its not all that bad:). |

Sometimes life rolls double sixes, sometimes life rolls snake eyes... My adom games always seem to come up double fours. Lots of artifacts, but 1 wish if I'm lucky and no greater vaults. But I can't say always yet, I've only rolled the dice twice. (Only got 2 people that far in the game without cheating.) |

291, i dont' think i've had one of those before. mine are all power outages and monsters picking up too many itmes (older version) does 1.1.1 still have crashes? my two worst deaths for high level characters are as follows. i had an archer with tons of everything, all the good stuff, plenty of spells and all that. (3 amulets of life saving) he dove from the top the great rift into a river in the bottom of teh rift. for some reason adom doesn't show your character as blue when you're in the water and i assumed i was standing on dry ground. while a vault of troll berserkers was hurling rocks at me i decided to regen hit points before taking them out. just a second or two of holding 's' was all it took. shame. 2. lvl 50 wizard, left CoC to read wish. forgets about Strength of Atlas and whaddya know, dead as hell. IMO that's teh stupidest death there is, what kind of moron, superhuman strength or not, would carry his/her tons of luggage directly above his/her head so that it would crush you. having a backpack seems to me that it wuold be on your back. i'd say there's about a 50/50 chance of the stuff falling forwards or backwards depending on your characters stance. killing you everytime is lunacy. |
