i found a potion of quickling blood. It's not in the Guidebook.
I was a lv 26 drakish priest and was about about to die to the cat lord and drank the potion to the test it. It was cursed so something like this apperead: everything seems to slow down or something.

i think it is in the guidebook..
Anyway, it increases your speed, slows if cursed. I mean permanent effects.

It's not in the Guidebook. I downloaded it yesterday and checked. Unless I didn't have my glasses or i was drunk(fat chances) it's not there.

It is, I just checked... the potion of speed changed names to potion of quickling blood; so maybe you have an old version of the guidebook, or the downloadable one hasn't been updated yet?

Look at the online guidebook, if you're in doubt:

...and the page on potions:

They're pretty rare considering they're only about as good as a quickling corpse. I had a blessed one and it only increased my speed by 2 or 3. They should be way better, considering blessed potions of troll blood are 8 times as good as blessed troll corpses.

I like potions of quickling blood, because I REALLY like speed. They should do more, though. Does anyone know a good way to increase speed?

In later stages it's not rare to meet quickling partys in the wilderness. This, combined with a little patiance will eventually give you speed to outrun Filk.

Eat bugs at the bug temple. The simplest and fastest way.
