Ok, I summoned a bunch of cave tigers in the DH2, and then I left, I came back after draining some of Darkforge and I was invisible, I made a trap and stepped on it to see what it was, and there was a big explosion that killed a tiger, but it didn't moan into the ground, and it didn't go on my kills list... is this a bug? You wish to kill me? Good thing I brought my psychic hamster named Hamster with me... |

If it's not on your kill list, consider yourself lucky. If your perception is low enough, you won't see cats moan into the ground. |

No, as long as you perception is above 15 you will get that message every time. |

that's not true alex... you can get it like with the tenth cat you kill.. some stat/stats affect this. |

You can only get that message once per game, but it might not be for the very first cat you kill. I think the message appears if you have perception at least 15, are lucky or have fate smiles. The message has nothing to do with whether the cat lord will be hostile - just because you didn't notice the cat's spirit moan into the ground doesn't mean anything. He will be hostile if there are any cats on your kill list. |

I don't think you need to be lucky /fate smiles. Many of my 5-10 level chars got the message without even seeing an altar before. For the Horde! |

That's what Ekaterin said. Perception 15, lucky OR fate smiling on you. Some class also always gets the message, even if none of the requirements is met. I think that's beastfighters. If you're feeling happy, don't worry, it'll go away.
