First of all, not playing this character exactly purist, just having fun :) That said, looking for some help with a place to have at least a small chance of generating a dragon (ancient or otherwise) with a scroll of familiar summoning - i've tried reading them in the dwarven halls as the Guidebook suggested, but all I get is earth/fire elementals, balors, or emperor liches. I was under the impression that almost anything could be generated in there, but it seems confined to a very narrow range. I'm a level 12 drakish elementalist at the moment - have I just not waited long enough, or would someplace like the library in the Rift be better? Thanks! |

Ive generated an Ancient red D in there, and i havent been into the halls too much. My best ever generated by a Scroll of familiar summoning was an Ogre Emperor. He put out some serious damage, but he got beat on by a master lich and its horde so he didnt last too long Why does it have to be a dragon? Are you hoping that hell breathe fire on you to increase your speed, or you just like the idea of having one for a pet |

I just like the idea of having one :) Especially for a drakish character that seems to be using lots of fire spells so far. Anyway, trying to make my way down to the Casino now, maybe i'll get some different results after coming back up. |

try SMC... I have gotten dragons in there, but only in the late game though.. and you are only lvl 12 so |

Thanks for the info. Incidently, I just tried reading a scroll in the dwarven graveyard, and had a quickling king generated, so I think i'll stick with him until I level up a bunch more. |

i wonder if the red dragon as a famliar was how the hall of fame character that beat andy within 30 someodd days did it. anyone know about that? if you had a red dragon pet and found 7lg boots real quick, maybe in lawinthoel or something. |

I've gotten Ancient Karmic Dragon pets by reading the scroll in the Library. That and Titans seem to be the most common generated pets in the Library. The All-Powerful Ancient Chaos Lobster is here. Boil some water and melt some butter! |
