does anyone know a good place to look for these? i was talkin to the crone then suddenly realized i didn't have one, uh oh. i've got a great character goin that could be my first ultra ender. i found 2, yes 2 wishes in darkforge but couldn't bear to waste them on scrolls of danger. anyone know? |

gremlin scumming on D:9 can yield them (highest danger level without corruption). other than that, try searching as many dungeon levels as you can find for scroll shops, if no luck buy everything in waldenbrook's/barnabas'/leggot's shops and hope they stock with it. recently got 2 scrolls within 1 minute with a dark elven merchant in ID:6-9 ... Ma=25 helped =) |

You could also try scumming water dragon cave. Otherwise, don't sweat it. You are bound to pick up one eventually in the CoC - almost certainly in the blue dragon caves. Even if you are going for a L ultra ending, it is relatively easy to switch alignment even if you hit level 45 or so. Level 50 is a different story of course . . . |

Gozer, there are no scrolls in the water dragon cave, all iron items are rusty, and no scrolls/books can be found (drenched the minute they spawn). A pessimist sees a dark tunnel. An optimist sees a light at the end of that tunnel. A realist sees a train. And the train driver sees three idiots on the tracks. |

it doesn't matter much but i found the danger scroll in the casino. i managed to clear all the temples but the mana one and came back to the surface to get my PoCC. then i noticed 8 out of my 9 SoCR are missing. talk about sucky. there's not a truly excited vault either, really sucky. i'm only lvl 32 and probably not strong enough to do the mana temple. probalby no way to do an ultra ending so it sucks and i haven't played him in a few days. the in-game menu says that mana is your luck. so yeah i guess it does. |

Gozer, I think I saw "no paper items in the water dragon's cave" on a list of changes to ADOM on TB's website. Were you playing an old version when you found scrolls and books in there? |
