No really - it does! If anyone is thinking of going for an Archmage victory, take my word for it - it aint worth it! Why? Simple: when you have 3000+ hitpoints, 10000+ PP, 2000+ speed, all stats at 99, and all skills at 100 there really is no challenge and, thus, no fun. I used mystic shovel to clear the SMC and read 50 scrolls of danger - nothing even remotely approaching a challenge has emerged. Wishing for the EM or AKW is also no challenge. It isn't even that difficult obtaining such power - just tedious. If you really want to experience this level of power just hack a character or download someone else's and save yourself a lot of time. I plan to achieve 10000+ hitpoints, PPs, and speed. Then finish the game. If I am feeling really mad then I might wish for 50000 scrolls of magic mapping, bless them all, and do a massive ID dive. |

The ID will provide to be a challenge at some point, as it gets more and more dangerous all the time when you go deeper. So try it, see how far you can go. Don't forget to wish for lots of AoLS. If you're feeling happy, don't worry, it'll go away. Possibly the scrolls of danger don't work in SMC. They would have to raise your level. |

Have you ever been to ID:3000 Gozer? I have a svg file that starts with a WoW with over 3 trillion charges and wished for 99 in all stats, every wishable skill up too 100, over 50000 speed, tons of scrolls of magic mapping, and only the best equipment, and I finally died on 3027 or somthing like that (I was being ***really*** cocky at that point though :D). So if you want a challenge just dive into the ID and see how far you can go. "I concur that we are both atheists. I just believe in one less god than you do. My cousin said that he had found a video, where someone is in the bottom of ID. It was around 65000th level. All mighty guidebook: "The level number is limited by some 32 or 64 bit integer value." So, it isn't infinite after all. ___ |

hmm... The guy in the video had tested, how low in the ID he could start the game. And that 60k something was the last lvl... If someone knows how to adjust the starting point, he could check it out. That guy apparently knew, because he was in the ID 60k something with 1st lvl char. ___ |

Yup, that's the answer. a friend of mine said that the bit integer may be computer dependant, and with a old comp the bit integer would be 2^16. So, he reached some sort of bottom. ;) ___ |
