The Wyrm at the end of the game (Forget his name). If you have a AoLS, use a wand of Far Slaying on him in a such a way that it bounces (ie, small room). Charge it up fully, and watch him die. You'll die as well (most likely), but the AoLS will bring you back. Only "real" way to use it. I suppose you can do the same thing to Andy as well. Living forest angers the trees, much like fire. It works outdoors when surrounded by jackals or even in the big room with summoners. But a wand of lightning is much more effective |

An alternative use of a wand of far slaying is to train up your Concentration skill. Concentration is trained by regenerating power points, so put all your power into one zap of the wand, wait to regen, and repeat until Concentration is at 100. To avoid hitting yourself, either do this in the wilderness as eL suggests, or aim at a closed door. |

DO NOT ZAP WANDS OF BALL LIGHTNING IN A HALLWAY! DO NOT ZAP WANDS OF FAR SLAYING AT A NEARBY WALL! Unless you have Alertness at 5000 or an amulet of life saving, these things coiuld take you well below -200 hp. |

wands of far slaying are petty much useless for warrior type characters, who have low power points, aren't they? |

By the time you reach the AKW, you should have at least 100 PP with any sort of substantial character. 100 PP bolt hitting the AKW back and forth will do a lot of damage. Has anyone killed Andy with one? A wizard going for an ultra ending ought to have tons of pp, making the thing powerful. ChAoS has lots of walls moving about, so you could find a suitable location. If you're feeling happy, don't worry, it'll go away.
