I beg to differ; those are not nearly the most useful potions. They are, however, not useless. Many potions can be thrown, grenade-style, to affect monsters. Be aware that this counts as an an attack, and you can miss. Die Gedanken sind Frei [Edited 1 time, last edit on 8/18/2004 at 09:05 (GMT -5) by Iridia] |

They are pretty damn useful, yes. You'd think some of the more powerful monsters (ie orb guardians) would get resistance to them, but they don't seem to. I sometimes resort to a few potions of confusion for the cat lord. By the way, do potions of sickness work the same way? Can monsters get sick? What do you wish for? wands of cat repellent_ |

Yes, they can. (Cats can, at least.) Not sure if undeads and constructs would though ... [Edited 2 times, last edit on 8/19/2004 at 11:14 (GMT -5) by illumi] |

IMHO potions of water are the most useful potions in the game. |

I missed, with a DE barbarian and Dx:30. It was a PoExchange, my only one, in the arena, and the cat dodged it... A pessimist sees a dark tunnel. An optimist sees a light at the end of that tunnel. A realist sees a train. And the train driver sees three idiots on the tracks. |

Probably has more to do with the cat's dodging ability than your char's throwing ability. Damn agile cats. If you're feeling happy, don't worry, it'll go away.
