Hello, another stupid question from me is here. I read Andy´s guidebook but IMO there is nothing exact about !of training.
Can you tell me how the potion works? Thanks

It selects a random skill you have and increses the dice used for increasing it at level-ups (1 is increased to 1d3, 1d3 to 1d5 etc. ).
It isn't of much use, since it usually grants no more then a future increasment in one random skill.

A pessimist sees a dark tunnel.
An optimist sees a light at the end of that tunnel.
A realist sees a train.
And the train driver sees three idiots on the tracks.

blessed potions can be a real boon, if you get the increase in the right skill. it once improved my bridge building from 1d3 to 3d4, which is kinda nice.

Jonesy are you sure? I thought that potion of Training only did what Maelstrom said..I believe your talking about a potion of education

Potion of Education can grant skills, Training only improves them.

There's both.....potion/scroll of education can also only improve one of your skills instead of giving you a new one.

Actually,most people made sense in here. Some arent sure if there's potions or scrolls of ed,which is pretty normal, there's so much stuff in this game.care to set us right nerd wonder?
