...ITS SO EASY! all you need a a wand of fireball, (you get one with 12 charges for doing the dwarven elder quests)and Rhetep dies in 1 or 2 blasts and then you can just get the loot and run for the stairs because the other creatures do not follow you down. EASY!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Yeah, you try that with a ghost lord, steel golem, stone giant king and a greater mimic spawned as the random guardians. Good hunting... [Had to vent - hate it when a good tank get's killed by a stupid mimic and some medicore monsters only because the mimic got luck with paralisis and Rehetep get's lucky with disease.] A pessimist sees a dark tunnel. An optimist sees a light at the end of that tunnel. A realist sees a train. And the train driver sees three idiots on the tracks. |

Try to drink a potion of invisibility right before going up the stairs. Most of the monsters spawned up there won't be able to see you. Kill Rehetep and the mummies (who do see invisible), and then head back down if the other guardians are too strong. You know you've played too much ADOM when you try to throw coins at people wearing similar clothes as yourself. |

if you have teleport its easy too... just teleport next to him and the monsters take time to reach you.. fireball/burning hands, game over... |

I often do kill most of the other guardians, though; because they're strong, they give decent XP. Die Gedanken sind Frei |

I allways teleport next to him, 2 burning hands and he's gone.. Then out of there and back a few levels later and deal with the guardians... |

Ive always been able to kill Mr Tep and companions pretty easily, but yeah sometimes he'll have some creatures spawned around him that are tough.werewolf king comes to mind.......easiest ive killed him and company with was improved fireball with a wizard (boosted Wi) and the fireball reached across screen to where he was standing, he didnt have the chance to say he was gonna skin me alive, hee hee, archers have it easy to kill him too. (without having to use the fireball wand but really, the fireball wand is supposed to be in the game for him). Glad you cracked that code,hehe |

I killed him for the first time today with a level 14 orc healer, had absolutely no idea what was actually in there, but it was quite easy. I just wish I knew Reh was that vulnerable to fire.. |
