Hmmm... got a promising char here... any advice: Lev 24. Human wizard. She killed the ACW and went down till the guardian. 80.000 XPs and she'll be level 25. Bugville for level up or the library? What would you suggest... |

both done without breaking a sweat. this girl has been blessed in this game with protective Items. Precrown gift was ring of immunity, crowning was barnalbins cloak of defense. I didnt kill everything in the tower of fire though, cause my fireproof blankets wer gone shortly after the ACW. Grabbed the orb and fled to avoid more Item destruction. DV/PV on normal is 56/47 215 H and 372 P. |

Go to library. You'll level there, at least 1-2, maybe 3 levels. I visit it always before ToEF. And remember that wizards get every single spellbook in the game at there. The rust monster touches your blessed Trident of the Red Rooster. Nothing happens. You laugh at the monster's pitiful attempt. |

She Did it! She did it! She closed the gate... Library was doable but pretty tough. I was too frightened to try a diamond golem. Then I fled. A few hours later i magic missiled a diamond golem tension room without too much trouble and cursed... But the late game became pretty easy after i got the water orb. At the moment im in terinyo and am pretty heavily corrupted. So i think about obtaining a few of the guaranteed SoCRs tomorrow and then head home... :D |

If you're a level 50 wizard, you should be able to write SOCRs without too much trouble. we barbarians on the other hand . . . What do you wish for? wands of cat repellent_ |

You won't believe it... (well maybe you will.... as you guys know adom) *g* Julia got killed in the Bugville caves... Hmm... Never found a writing set or a blank scroll... ID Scumming? I still got a savefile from the icelevel... I confess. I already cheated with this char. Once she got crushed by luggage because i didn't see the waning message in a vault. That was so frustrating that i decided to cheat. just this time. Then I managed to kill myself with a magic missile in a 1 square space. A first try on Bugville caves went wrong in the first room. Wrong tactic with the chaos archmage. Maybe I just cheat one more time and heed your advice alex. We'll I'll see tomorrow...thanks! |
