I agree that all companions are only a pain in your **** ;) I never use companions personally. I don't have enough patience to order them and they only steal my experience. Train melee and magic with your necromancer. But if you are really going to use slaves, use quickling corpses, and not until you can make decent undeads like skeletal warrior or something such. Don't bother with zombies. The rust monster touches your blessed Trident of the Red Rooster. Nothing happens. You laugh at the monster's pitiful attempt. |

Well, you might bother with zombies -- to train up necromancy in preperation for more powerful stuff. I agree that companions can be a real pain to manage though, just doesn't fit with how I play, but it could for others. |

There´s nothing better then a zombie to use as a buffer between oneself and that particulary nasty monster that chases you through the corridors. http://tankefel.blogspot.com/ So far you have only killed one wild cat. |

all companions are excellent solutions to your kitty problems. armies of the undead ravaging terinyo is pretty cool too |
