My friend wanted to go for ultimate ending owning
platinum girdle. I thought it impossible, 'cause
of some tough restrictions:
- begin as C for gaining trinity;
- never commit anything chaotic, including attacking Filk;
- have an altar on 48 or 50 CoC.
OK, he answered for them as follows:
- begin as trollish necromancer (very chaotic);
- have an *overbuff* pet, which is able to kill Filk;
- begin with Long Lost Brother omen for generating
needed altar.
My question is - WAS he correct about these issues?
BTW, he didn't make it anyway - after luring a farmer from Terinyo into an wilderness encounter with hostile gnoll party and gaining his body in this manner, he got a message "You feel as if transgressing some law" when giving it to old crone and receiving MeDaL of ChAoS in return.
So, I was right, eventually - "Platinum-man challenge" is impossible.
