A gnomish weaponsmith of mine recently had an interesting experience: Got cursed by a black wizard's spell. Shortly thereafter I ran into one of those rooms that say something like 'The breeze accompanying you causes some bones on the floor to crumble into dust. You feel relieved'

When later I checked my intrinsics, I found I was no longer cursed. I did NOT remove this with piety (mine being far too low). As the message in this room is similar to the altar/pool description
when cursing is removed, it caught my attention.

Before I make assumptions, however, I have to ask:
Does anyone know if the spell-cursing (The black wizard curses you, NOT the item-cursing) is only
temporary? (Like scroll of ill fate)
