You can be proud - your Wiz is clerly related to powerful land arcane IBM guild. He's attuned to mystical powers of Cybernetics in a certain way... Unfortunately, his attunement is still quite weak, for it takes a Gray Elven lifespan to master all the secrets of this lore. Maybe, if you end game, and decide to become an Archmage, you'd be able to read it somehow... But don't get confused if you get surprised! Or vice versa? :) P.S.: And if seriously, mayhap this stuff heavily trains literacy? Or it's just a confusing joke without use except dipping it into a certain potion or throwing it into a monster? IBM stands for Incredibly Brutal Muggers, and their manual is very confusing - I don't think you can ever get rid of the confusion without divine intervention. A pessimist sees a dark tunnel. An optimist sees a light at the end of that tunnel. A realist sees a train. And the train driver sees three idiots on the tracks. |

I have read that thing before...without enough pety to cure the confusion. I staggered around the UD (of all places) trying to make it back to the surface...I got upset and quit that game. AFAIK divine intervention is the only way to deal with that book. I staggered around for quite a while before quitting. |
