While wishing, are the prefixes and suffixes taken into consideration as well? For example, if I wish for a fireproof murderous eternium-shod quarterstaff of devastation, do I get what I wanted, or do I get only an eternium-shod quarterstaff? And, second question (somewhat related to the first one) My lv20 drakeling elementalist just got out of the dwarven graveyard and is going deeper til I hit the wall of flames and so, the ToEF. I don't have any spellbook of offensive spells, and I don't have much spells left, but luckily I do well in melee too (1d10+32 dmg and 35-40 PV) I have like 245hp and 202pp, and 4 corruptions(though not the worst ones). Now, the question is, I found a ring of djinni summoning and what do you think I should wish for? |

Spellbooks of ice ball perhaps? Spellbooks of acid ball? Spellbooks of heal? You'll need this in ToEF. AoLS? (incase khelly hasn't died yet) And no, you can't wish for pre- or suffixed items. |

As he is at the wall of flames, Khelly must be dead, so I'd suggest perhaps red dragon scalemails, or maybe Rings of Ice. Don't fear the ToEF too much just because playing a drakeling, some regenerating stuff, spensweed and potions of healing, is all you need. Assuming you have tamed the big room, spenseweed (and, thus, healing) should not be a problem. Normally I would second red dragonscale mail also, but being a drakeling it will only be of limited use in the ToEF. Assuming you have sufficient fireproof blankets, I would seriously consider wishing for rings of invisibility (assuming you don't have on-demand invisibility), wands of paralysation (makes ACW *much* easier to handle), or wands of poison (ditto). Spellbooks of Ice Ball would also be good, assuming you can learn spells that high well enough. |

Just go meele some monsters in ToHK caves til you are about 25, find two RoI, and keep your wish for 7LB's :) Wands of paralysation aren't outstandingly rare, as well as other common crap. With your built-in Frost Bolt wasting a wish for spellbooks of Ice Ball is IMO not a very wise turn - you might extract very few castings from them, if any. Go climb a rift for a chance to get Ice Ball book for free ;] If you think you don't have enough Frost Bolt castings left - gain a few levels. Ubi patria ibi bene! |

Try for 'rings of regeneration', a couple of those blessed will keep your drakeling from burning away. also rings dont get destroyed while under artifact gaunlets, ie: the elemental gauntlets, or iron fist/eternal peace guantlets |

Hmm, thanks for all the answers, but there are a few points like, -I think I have 3rd level fire resistance(so don't need immunity *that* much) -I absorb wands (although I got a few SoCR at my stash, but I was saving those) -I already have 7LB -I have the invisibility spell -My 2 blessed fireproof blankets just got ripped apart by an exploding door along with some of my potions of extra healing. So... I still can't decide. Wand of paralyzation and ring of ice (though I think rings of ice are not so rare) are on top of my list, but maybe I should wish for less occasion-specific items, like PoGA or SoCR, what do you think? (Yes, I know, I've talked too much for one petty wish, but I really hate to waste things.) |

Don't waste a wish on PoGA since you only get one, also *I* wouldn't wish for wands of paralyze, they are not that rare. Maybe some eternium weapon, or just save the wish. With invisibility and frost bolt you should be able to clear out ToEF pretty comfortably provided you are cautious. Curing the mana absorbing corruption is inadvisable - magic casters don't depend on wands as heavily as non-magic casters, and the corruption will heavily reduce spell costs. Of course, if you choose not to cure this corruption then don't bother with wishing for wands! Fireproof blankets look like your biggest need right now. I would advise wishing for them, or saving your wish and scumming for fireproof blankets with a gremlin bomb. |

I like to use a portable wish on Emperor Moloch. If done right, it can mean many gained levels very quickly. |
