Have Food Preservation at 100. Cook 'em. Bless 'em if they start to rot, or use the Remove Curse spell. If you can't do any of these things, your chance to deliver the corpses in time are minimal.

I am not quite sure where to get the right corpses... The Orb Guardians, Keethrax, the Chaos Trinity Guardians, Riurry and maybe other black unicorns?
You drop the golden ball.
You kick the golden ball. It slides to the west.
Suddenly Harry Potter, the apprentice wizard, appears! "That's not how you play Quidditch! are you even listening?"
Which direction? (123456789) 4
Harry Potter, the apprentice wizard, is hit by a bolt of acid! Harry Potter, the apprentice wizard, is annihilated.
You hear the ecstatic cries of a large crowd!

Have a nice supply of holy water and means of casting a fire-based spell should be enough.
If you are a caster-class, you should use the firebolt of fireball spell. Put the corpse on the ground, fire a fire bolt over it, or cast a fireball spell (if corpse is next to you.) After a few tries it should become cooked.
Wands will also do the trick. And remember that you can recharge wands (with booze, amongst other thins), and that one of Thundarr's quest rewards is a wand of fireballs (12 charges). I'd suggest using it, as a PoCCs are very desirable items.
If you got cooking you can use that, of course, but it just might spoil the corpse, whereas fire spell is nofail (given enough tries). If you use fire spell on an already cooked corpse, it can burn away, so take care there.

In the Tower of eternal fire you simply move on top of the chaos wyrms corpse, and let time pass by pressing '5' key. After some turns it will become cooked, and then you pick it up. Keethrax and Orb guardians are the only ones guaranteed to leave a corpse, but all black unicorns, and trinity guardians work too.

With food preservation at 100, I don't think cooked corpses ever rot. Without food preservation cooked corpses can still rot. This is where holy water come in. Dip the cooked corpse once in holy water. Now it is properly id'ed as being blessed. It will over time become uncursed, and then cursed. If it becomes cursed you can dip it again to get it back to blessed, or use curse removal to bring it up to uncursed.

You cannot be Chaotic when you deliver corpses. So if you happen to be C, but plan to revert to N or L later, you should sell the corpses to food salesman in Terinyo. They will never rot there.

This selling thing also works for other corpses as well, such as blink dog corpses (good to have backup if planning to drink pools) or ogre/giant corpses (in case you manage to obtain a ring of weakness...)

Get all the 'guaranteed' SoCRs.
That is - from mystic in dwarftown[4], from room in high mountain village[1], from bug temple[3] and mad ministrel[5?].
That'd be near 13.
Find PoCCs. Find SoCRs or Wish for them (though I'd suggested wishing for magical writing sets and writing them with your *wizard*, if you are playing one).
Then, remember you can be cleaned once by white unicorn for killing black one. That in itself is equal to lots of SoCRs.
Read tracts of order :]
+Be crowned champion of Order to get 30% chaos resistance [that's what Echo stated], take unicorn sign at startup [+20% resistance, again - Echo] and choose to be either monk [10 resistance at lvl 50], mindcrafter [some wierd resistance effect], paladin of farmer (30% at lvl 50)

The 4 from Mystic in Dwarftown are not guaranteed...if you chat to him when Neutral you have a 50% chance of getting an other gift (don't remember exactly what, but it includes a PoGA so it's not all bad)

It's guaranteed to the extent that you should not bring him any kind of randomly generated rubbish. And he's not blocking anything.

Sure, we can tell that for an illiterate barb char without teleport control even a scroll in HMV is unguaranteed - he just won't get into the room. As well as we can tell that 6 SoCRs are guaranteed from KevlarWaster just mentioning 'blah-blah-blah - go to ID and scum 5000 gremlins for AoLS'.

[A side note: the mindcrafter resistance is a resistance to corruption when using mindcraft on chaos beings.]

So far you have only killed one wild cat.
