Ehhh my mist this is not overbloated (it's my work words;) It's overfeed. One blessed scroll of satiation gives 1000 satiation points.... But it's can be additional only for some frontier Hmmmmm the fast way to overfeed I think willbe wish for food. It's can give a lots of satiation points. ah it's not that hard to press "r a" 600 times. actually according to the guidebook blessed scrolls of satiation give 2000 points of satiation. (also i noticed it seemed to loop around, my speed changed oddly after a few hundred - i didn't really re-try it) according to the guidebook again wishing for satiation will only increase satiation to 5000 satiation points. PS: Don't ever read a scroll of repair without carrying any other objects. (i'd submit a bug report but it's never updated). The bug reports are updated when Thomas have time to fix them, just go ahead and submit it. It's the only way it's going to get fixed (unless Thomas stumble upon it himself). The poor guy is quite busy at the moment trying to jugle his company, a life and ADOM development. Last I heard he was hoping to get some days off around easter to work on ADOM... This is just a suggestion, Dougy, but I think it would be nice if your web page included explanations of how to get the more obscure death messages. These messages are obscure (IMHO), but I think I know how to get them: He transformed into a miserable and wretched chaos servant (after saving his world)... Killing Andor Drakon while not wielding the Trident or Sceptre. He was shredded to pieces by inhabitants of the planes of Chaos... Passing through the Chaos Gate while neutral or chaotic and not extremely corrupted. He was squished by the mark of the failed paragon... Doing something chaotic while wearing the platinum girdle? He died of exhaustion on a bad day... Starting a character with very low hp on a Monday. He was annihilated by... He was blasted by... He was drowned by... He was electrocuted by... He was extinguished by... He was scorched by... Being killed by various monster breath attacks? He was crushed by a collapsed ceiling... Being killed by a collapsing ceiling trap? He was crushed by a collapsing dungeon... Kicking the stairs causing the dungeon to collapse. He was doomed to be killed by a mislead divine energy bolt... If you're doomed and cursed, and a moloch smashes an altar next to you, the altar's god will attempt to blast the moloch, and may hit you instead. He was drained of his life force by strong magic... Unsuccessfully reading a spellbook and being killed by the "drains your life force" effect. He was killed by trying too hard to be a great writer... Writing a scroll of chaos resistance. He was transformed into a... Being drained of all Strength or Toughness by a stat drainer. These messages I don't know how to get: He broke his leg on a wall... Presumably kicking a wall, but when I do that it always says "Luckily you are not really injured", and I don't think I lose any hp. He entered the plane of Primal Chaos... He was devoured after failing the final test... He was transformed into a true servant of Chaos... Variations on passing through the Chaos Gate when not properly equipped? He was annihilated by divine wrath... Making a god really mad at you? He died of physical exhaustion... He was killed by vile ... magic ... He was torched by... No clue about these. |

But the best score have a very low experienced PC, High PC hmmm maybe when he is Doomed/cursed?:) And more stupid is broken his leg when kicking air:)))) And <He was killed by trying too hard to be a great writer...> Yes it's true but only when you have a low Mana. It's drain 10 points in Mana stat. But if you have Alchemy and a lots of PoGA and a lots of PoE and a lots of magical writing sets. Good tactics to write SoChR is writing 3 or 4 SoChR, than swith your stats with PoE, write SoChR, swith, write et cetera. And last drink PoGA:) "Insect, we care not for thee. I've been thinking a bit more about all the ways to die by screwing up an ultra ending. Here are some lists which I hope include everything that can go wrong. Do we have the death messages associated with all of them? (I am pretty clueless about this, since if I manage to get that far I'm not going to waste the game on getting killed in an "interesting" way.) If you're not wielding the Trident when you pass through the gate, you'll die if any of the following conditions hold true:
If you are wielding the Trident, you'll die under the following circumstances:
If you survive to face Andor Drakon, a few things can still theoretically go wrong. If you kill him while not wielding the Trident or the Sceptre, the death message is "He transformed into a miserable and wretched chaos servant (after saving his world)". I'd guess that non-chaotics who kill him while wielding the Sceptre suffer the same fate. If you are chaotic, is whether you become an ordinary Chaos God or an Ultimate Chaos God determined by what you were wielding when Andor Drakon died, or what you were wielding when you passed through the gate? On Dougy's web page, the further life of a miserable and wretched chaos servant has the pillars of Order saving your soul before Chaos can devour it. I guess that this is for lawfuls, and neutrals are saved by the scales of balance instead - what becomes of chaotics? And finally... what happens if you change alignment and become a fallen champion on the Chaos Plane? Do you still become an avatar of your new alignment, Chaos God or Ultimate Chaos God? |

He was annihilated by divine wrath... Making a god really mad at you? Yes, but not too mad or else (s)he'll summon folks to kill you instead. He died of physical exhaustion... (Jacknife told me this one, i can't remember exactly how i got it but i remeber i did...) He was killed by vile ... magic ... (kobold shaman bolt) He was torched by... (daemon type fire bolts) I also found a new fire lizard one in the process of checking these... i'll check out ekaterin's ones, most i've done, some i haven't. - You are not a crowned champion of your alignment. You are doomed or cursed other than from wearing the Crown and Medal of Chaos. You are neither extremely corrupted nor lawful (probably "shredded to pieces by inhabitants of the planes of Chaos" again). You are not wearing the Crown and Medal of Chaos. These are entered the plane of chaos one, apart from the last which is failed the final test. If you change alignment on the chaos plane you get the avatar of the alignment you finish at. Thank you very much for adding explanations of all the death messages to your web page! Just to make sure I understand what you're saying about special endings (since if you're right, there are several mistakes in the Guidebook's discussion of them): If you're trying to become an ordinary Chaos God, can you kill Andor without wielding the Sceptre? The Guidebook says you can't. If you want to become an Ultimate Chaos God, can you do it this way? Act as if you were going to be an Avatar of Order or Balance until you've passed through the gate. Then wish up a few white unicorns and kill them to turn chaotic. Then kill Andor while wielding the Trident. That might be easier than the usual procedure (since you wouldn't have to defer getting crowned until you had the Trident). |

If you are not a crowned champion and entered Chaos Plane: After a cople of eons a huge chaos knight blocks your passage. He grunts "Ye ArT nOt My LiEgE lOrD". With that he draws a huge sword and carves you into two pieces. Death message: He was sliced by an eternal Chaos guardian... When you are a champion of chaos but your alignment is only C: A huge mass of writhing tentacles approaches you. A voice in your mind booms: "*yEt AnOtHeR oF tHoSe TiNy SeRvAnTs. YoUr StAtUs WiLl Be InCrEaSeD*" Death message: He was transformed into a true servant of Chaos... |

Ok it's updated - I accidently discovered a kicking tree death but the more important stuff He entered the plane of Primal Chaos (L or N not crowned/fallen champ/not wielding trident/not extreme alignment/doomed/cursed) He was transformed into a true servant of Chaos (non-extreme chaotic align) He was shredded to pieces by the inhabitants of the planes of Chaos (not extremely corrupted for N and Cs) He was sliced by an eternal Chaos guardian (C and not crowned) He was devoured after failing the final test (not wearing part (or all - only crowned chaotics can survive this far without wearing anything) of trinity) There's no special death messages i know of from dying on the chaos plane - besides winning. He broke his leg when kicking a tree... (: (i always copy them off the high score) i've been scanning from the exe and found a few newies... He died of pneunomia... He poisoned himself with spider-filled bread... He terminally broke isr leg by kicking an anvil... He was eaten alive by a spider swarm... He was electrocuted... He was ripped apart when confronting Order and Chaos... and i fixed up the fire creatures having different death messages, and sorted out the chaos plane entry. i also chucked on the list the ones from the exe i couldn't explain DougyDougy - Dougy - DougyDougy |
