I don't know exactly whe he appears there, but you must be atleast lvl 45 to have any use for him anyway 2. you need to be chaotic to do gaab'baay's quests. and you have to satisfy the demented ratling. I don't think there's a level limit. even with the 'you need to mature' You die... |

The "You need to mature" refers to alignment I think. Gaab'Bay assumes that Law is for immature little wusses, apparently... Move the cursor to the desired position and press [SPACE] when done. There is one reason for wanting to know when Khelavaster shows up in Terinyo... what if you didn't see invis? You could accidentally kill him (or yourself... I don't know how tough he is). |

If you have rescued Khelly, and you don't see invisible, you should always use coward tactics or two shields when wandering around in terinyo. Coward tactics will only reduce the chance of hitting him, but I don't think you can kill him by accident anyway (unless you are really buff), but you will make him hostile, but this doesn't remove the chance to get the TotRR, it just makes it slightly harder, since you might have to kill Khelly to get it. Um, Khelly doesn't carry the Trident around with him. He has to summon it for you, and I daresay he won't do that if he is hostile. So after accidentally attacking him - (Probably) goodbye TotRR. (Can he be made neutral again with Calm Monster or the merchant's special ability?) Second the two-shield-trick - if you do possess two shields. Alternatively, wear the ancient mummy wrapping (if you have it - you should, it is quite useful in cases) upon entering Terinyo, or shortly after entering. You drop the golden ball. You kick the golden ball. It slides to the west. Suddenly Harry Potter, the apprentice wizard, appears! "That's not how you play Quidditch! are you even listening?" Which direction? Actually, Khelly will still summon the Trident when hostile. When this happened to me (because I'd killed a farmer in Terinyo) he picked it up and wielded it against me, but I killed him with one zap of Burning Hands and took it back. (Note, though, that his summoning the Trident when hostile has been reported as a bug.) |
