Wow. I always get a AoLS by pool-scumming. Never gotten one without cheating. -Amanda Sedai, a save-scumming newbie. (Hey, at least I saved that little girl's dog. Gimme some credit... ;-)) |

I've found an AoLS only once(in the ID).Always use wishes or Poe,PoRC to get them.Right now Im stuck with no AoLS and got nothin left to do.Looks like I'm not going too save Kelly.*sigh*.My char really needs SoCR's hes got the poison corruption. THE MESSIAH,I'm here now,Worship me. |

i've only gotten an AoLS once as well, and that one i found. believe it or not, i found it on IIRC lvl 3 of the PC. and no, i did not wish for it. 'course, then i died and was too dumb to put it on before dieing. ivan.sourceforge.net |

on UD lvl 4, just near upstairs: "An ordinary ring is lying here". HEHE!! (RoDS) I had char that hunted for AoLS for 3 years (in ADOM time)in wilderness, killing white & red dragons... he found three artifacts, but no AoLS :( "Do not meddle in the affairs of wizards, for they are subtle and quick to anger" Lord of The Rings "Do not meddle in the affairs of cats, for they are subtle and will anger the cat lord" |

#define irony My latest char (gnome elementalist) found a wand of Wishing in Casino shop and a RoDS in BDC. And (IIRC) TWO amulets of life saving way after Khelly. And never needed them as the char proceeded to close the gate, clear the BDC (well, not exactly clear as those BD's just keep on coming), clear the library and Darkforge with ease (HIGH stats+Needle+Sting). Just about the only thing that could threaten my life was DK's (and they fell to Acid Ball easily). A veritable Terminator that char, I'll post the victory post once I get around to editing the .flg... |

I pickpocketed an ordinary ring in the Tomb of the High Kings, and thanks to these forums, I knew it was RoDS before I identified it :-) That was very nice - I'd already drained all the pools in Darkforge trying to get a wish, and would soon have had to give up and let Khel die. Messiah, did you know that there are cursed SoCR in the bug temple? (Or is going there regarded as cheating by experts?) |

I do go to the bug temlple.I never eat any of the corpses though.It's just to easy. Ekaterin I'm no newbie I do know about the SoCR's in the bugtemple. And after that bout of bad luck I had loads of good luck.See the that was really nice post THE MESSIAH,I'm here now,Worship me. |
