What do you think is your biggest blunder? Mine has got to be with my current mindcrafter. First, I forgot to before using mana orb use Elemental Gauntlets. I got a certain corruption. I then picked up all my stuff. I now have some 200 potions of poison instead of all my holy water... Homework is not meant for home! It's a sick verbal coincidence! -My brother |

Drinking a potion of healing with the poison hands corruption to try to bring myself up from 1 HP -this was a precation, I was in an empty room. It turned to poison and I died. I was level 50, on D50, needed one more lever pull to win. Fortunately I was a necromancer so this was only a minor setback on the road to winning but I almost threw the laptop computer across the room when I saw the "Urg! Poison! you die..." message. Battle Bunny: "Ach, maybe his Christian altar was stepped on. By a moloch." |

Underestimating a giant dragon turtle at around level 18 or 19. I only had around 120 hp... [EDIT] No, wait, I take that back. My biggest blunder was forgetting to equip a means of death ray resistance when going to fight Andy for an NCG ending... Killing Andor Drakon without wielding TotRR has got to be an everlasting stain on my ADOM career - especially since that would have been my first victory as a ULE (still haven't won yet...) More recently I accidentally closed the ADOM window on a level 50 drakish healer (Candle-born) that had done everything other than L50 and the Chaos Plane. I was in the unicorn glade whipping myself to get to L+, and because it was taking so long I decided to cut and paste long strings of the commands to whip myself - about 5 minutes in I accidently pressed the x on the top right instead of the windows icon in the top left. I felt so very very numb afterwards :( Waldenbrook, the dwarven shopkeeper, mumbles: "I'd offer 9 gold pieces for yer dwarven child corpse." |
