I've found a quick and easy way to get the axe of the minotaur emperor. All you need is to have finished the bug temple, be able to teleport, have teleport control, and a few potions of holy water. Anyone see what I'm getting at? Here's what you do: you bless all your scrolls of magic mapping, and read one one every floor you come to. You teleport to the stairs, go down (or up)and repeat, until you reach the seventh floor. By being blessed, you see the whole level, not just part of it.
