Well, it went pretty much like I expected. Tried to go get healing first, and on VD:3 got hit by a pit viper. Tried to run to the healer, but it took me 2 prayers. So ok, I'm still alive and descent to VD:6. Still no shield or other stuff nowhere to be found. All I managed to find was a tension room full of large orcs. Again, I ran.
Went to ID in hopes of a decent shield, and whee. I found a blink dog from ID:1 (managed to escape) and another from ID:2 (that I had to kill). ID:3 had a tension room with random foos. Once again, I ran. And I ran into an owlbear that hit me once, hit me twice and I bled to death.

Christmas luck my arse. :)

Rolled a male gnomish merchant in the month of wolf. Above average stats in everything. Specializes in potions. Not bad...

I'll probably take a peek in the small cave but leave early.

Whew, almost got killed by an outlaw leader early. First kill = beggar. Self defense, right?

So I went into the small cave but I realized I hadn't healed yet. So I left, and ran into Kranach. I ran away, and almost died again. I went into the ID and trained a bit. Now I'm doing the Carpenter quest.

Tensions room of kobold chieftans blocked my path. I ran away, and now I'm probably heading to the CoC. I guess my character will get the "healthy" talent to make up for the lack of healing temporarily. I won't risk going through the UD - I'm at level 7.

As I resurfaced, I found a lawful altar. Too bad I'm not the precrowning type. I converted to lawful and blessed my water.

My character is not having a good time. I made it past the big room, but now there seems like there are tough monsters EVERYWHERE. The down stairs is blocked by an ogre magus.

I ran past the ogre magus. Dwarftown was generated on D:9 - nice. Thrundarr asked me to kill a green slime. I'll head back East to do the carpenter and puppy quest, and then do the graveyard while I'm at it.

So I ran back past the ogre magus. Unfortunately, I forgot that the big room was the floor below. I got surrounded by hordes of summons and ran back down the stairs. I read random scrolls, hoping for a scroll of darkness. And I got one! (After wasting a scroll of danger)

As expected, the ogre magus proved to be a real pain. I can't kill her, because she keeps on panicking and regenerating.

so i've got raven born gnomish girl with starting toughness 19. if you wondering how rng got revenge, you are damn right.

i've went to smc after a bit of coiun throwing i was lv4 with no blanket no stairs having ghul in front of me and strange feeling of certain tension...

well i moved my ass out of there. picking shield on the way out. thank you raven for being my birthsign.

on vd1 i found whip. uncursed, thank you detect item status. so i play with it snatching couple extra points of dv.

on VD4 i clear tension room of frogs and bats:] getting myself to lv7. then i walk around level and see no signs of white shit called healer.

"must be sort of secret room" gogo thinks. i go around level twice kicking each wall and none of them really hurts. then i resurface to bandit town speak with crime lord and he only gives myself quest to slay sherrif.
then i go back to vd4 and kick all walls again in despair.

thank you rng for creating real challenge for me, thank you a lot.
by the way i have not seen any attacking wands at all.

actually all i need is to calm down, deal with hungover, deal with my job and think of some strategy. i always thought healing is damn overrated. got a chance to prove this.

well i've managed to find necklace of rapid healing, shop of wands with enough door creation potential to pacify big room, orcish spear of devastation and 7lb in dwarftown shop.

all this just to get signal 291 while droping things on dwarftown altar.

Invalid thought detected. Close all mental processes and restart body.

anything from the point i stand in VD4 oficially didn't existed. happy christmas, you are gifted live from backup.

VD5 gave me neutral altar allowing to identify stuff status and stop thinking wheather it's moral to wear necklace of rapid healing from my backpack. also gave holy water to bless it.
also on Vd5 i found ring mail of resilience and bone bracers. ttotal bonus +8toughness. and blink dogs appeared on VD5 resulting in teleport control.

Pc2 had a river, and i had neither blanket nor swimming so i went to id for stuff and levels.

later on killed crime lord, found gnomish book shop in upper levels of caverns of chaos and made myself to dwarftown. got a quest to kill jackalwere.
also have very ugly mixed vault just above dwarftown featuring chaos spawns and one more level up hive two steps away from stairs. so i'll make a break.

things are just flying.
bees are dead. spawns are dead. rehetep is dead. dwarven graveyard cleared.
big room pacified. 2 precrowns with hammerhead and ironfist.
water dragon cave checked. rune covered trident obtained.
great treassure graves dug, RoDS found there.
nice shops of books and rings are generated. i destroyed good deal of speellboks inspite learning over 30 and literacy of100.
have all nice rings except of ice.

smc passed with ring of invisibility and hammerhead.

also got 7LB and mithril batleaxe of penetration from random drops.

and in UD i managed repeat of best pickpocket ever -- preserver from orc.

well, merchants are well spoken thiefs:). and i'm not missing healing at all. if i only could get extra wish for concentration...

instead i've got magic writing set and sample of education scroll. so my mana is down to 1 point and i picked archery, gardening and concentration.

also got intrinsinc invisibility, ring of elemntal mastery, RotHK and teleportitis controled only via ring.

oh yes and extra wish. guess i will save it for scrolls of chaos resistance in case i need them.

water temple - checked.
tower of eternal flames - checked.
casino - checked, no artifacts.
library - checked.
water dragon - checked and killed, maybe i shouldn't slowed him. but i prefer being lower on levels but alive.
demented ratling - checked, feeded and killed
multiheaded chaos dragon-checked.
old crones quests - checked.
dwarftown - checked and slaughtered. gnomes are not best dwarf friends:)
battle bunnies - checked.
cat lord - checked and picked the ring.

memorizing why i never liked merchants - checked and double checked. that char can be thankfull for blessed mithril batleaxe of penetration (+8, 1d6+7). it's apity weapons cannot be named in ADOM.

air temple, earth temple done. to vaults of red dragon scleared. ice ball, frost ball and ace of penetration -- no problem at all.

blue dragon caves done. lot of easier then i expected. as this girl leveled up and reagined some mana points i started spellcasting quite efficiently. and having willpower with orb over 50 helps too:)

ancient karmic wyrm dead. chaos archmage dead.
just slaying arrows and a couple prayers for power points in mana temple. took one hit with death ray, thank you ancient mummy wrapping.

so now going to catch filk ant to fetch final part of chaos trinity.
at some point even merchants become bearable:)

so i have scepter and crumpled scroll. small problem i'm lv50 with 10k black stones and wishing to get tridents of red rooster.

healing per gives me around 6 stones, saccing at lawfull altar 10 and problems with gods. my cure light wounds is at +24 for healing that poor fomorian giant in water cave and it hurts my own fingers. guess soon i'll need to cure some wounds myself.

all done. including point of entering gates with chaos scepter and killing Andy with red rooster.
to my big surprise this did't crashed the game:)

All right, I'm back from my holiday, and it's time to report what I managed to achieve during it.

History so far:

No bolt wands initially, only ones like door creation, trap detection, trap creation and so on. Highest attribute mana 20, lowest strenght 10.

The first close call was waiting immediately after creating character: I was on my way to SMC to create monsters, when I encountered pack of wild dogs. They got my HP to 1, but thanks to my good speed I managed to escape. First kill was a rat which standed next to entrance in SMC. After creating SMC Went to ID1 to get levels, at level 7 saved the dog and got healing, then through UD. Again near to death when claw bug bypassed my good PV (which had saved my life when fighting against other mosters) and got my HP below 10 at PC5. And in SMC I was sure I would die, but then I remembered my wand of teleportation I had found earlier. I had no control and the wand actually took me further away from the staircase but it saved me from bad situation.

UD really was unremarkable this time: no shops, no herbs, no rivers, no forges, absolutely nothing. Precrowned with Ironfist in D2. Pacified big room to harvest herbs. Mimic in the dwarftown shop almost killed me, but I sacrified it. It was weird, because I killed many mimics easily before it and after it.

Made all Dwarftown quests. At this point things started to get interesting, because I have never got this far before. This was the first time ever when I survived the pyramid or entered dwarven graveyard, not to mention completed the portal-quest. In graveyard I had my fifth close call when Griff Bloodax punched trough my armor and critically hit me, lowering my HP to 1. I was lucky I didn't die. After the graveyard I went to ID to find a way to save Khelavaster, but didn't find anything. Got back to surface, visited VDDL to get wand of teleporting. I was going to get the reward from graveyard quest and crown myself in Dwarftown with blessed stomfillia from big room, but on my way there I became overconfident and felt I could defeat anything.

I decided to fight on Arena. Killed different kind of bats, giants, goblins and chaos servants, when it happened: a mimic hivemind. I had never encountered one, but I had heard it would be a tough opponent. I wore my amulet of free action, softened it with quarrels and then rushed on it. I forgot to use Ventriloquism, though. It was still pretty easy, and I was going to win, until: "Mimic hivemind hits you! You suddenly can't move! Mimic hivemind hits you! Mimic hivemind hits you! You bleed!..." and so on. It killed me during that one paralysis. OK, I thought, AoFA only gives resistance, not immunity against paralyzation. But then I read the flg. I was wearing amulet of health! This seems like YASD to me. It must have been so that when choosing what amulet I would use my eyes didn't work correctly. You can see from below that AoFA was next to AoH in inventory, and I watched the wrong line. Damned. I'm quite sure I would have won without that paralysis. The hivemind missed me or failed to hurt me like nine times of ten.
