First off peacing only works on afraid hostile humanoids. When you get them to surrender then you gain the same amount of exp that you would if you would have killed them. You also gain a lawful boost and the humanoid is non hostile to you and may even fight your enemies! You can also back stab them and gain killing exp, but your alignment will drop even more then the lawful boost. Programming today is a race between software engineers striving to build bigger and better idiot-proof programs, and the Universe trying to produce bigger and better idiots. So far, the Universe is winning. ~DT

or titans. A net lawful boost might be obtained by wearing a blessed amulet of balance when attacking the nonhostile but not when offering (p)eace.
