Hi, everybody, I've been hearing about various prayer effect, but so far I've seen only healing. I wonder... what else can my god bestow upon me? And what are the prerequisits? I've searched in the Guidebook, but it's either not there, or I'm blind. Thanks in Advance, Jiri |

Check the "Alignment and altars" section of the guidebook, I believe it's 0.2. How did you missed it? :) |

Here are just a couple of things: IBM Scroll cure. (provided you don't need healing because of sickness or poison!) Uncursing. Vermin control. (ends when you leave the level. Don't know if this works with battle bunnies) "If the bread weights that much in the draklor chain, then it's no wonder so many die of starvation. Recharge power points. Very useful for wizards with lots of power. Crowning. Very useful. Pick axe when on the upper fire tower level. |

Does anyone ever actually use a wish for pick axe? I've never had a character lacking in wands of digging. Prayer can also heal sickness or poison, but only if you have enough HP for it not to heal that instead (can be quite a nuisance trying to heal up enough for the prayer to work). Oh, and never pray in the dark, because you'll waste piety brightening up the area. Waldenbrook, the dwarven shopkeeper, mumbles: "I'd offer 9 gold pieces for yer dwarven child corpse." |

does using a pickaxe against stone golems etc cause more damage than their regular damage against other monsters? has anyone tried this? The stone giant runs away in fear. Who ever heard of a stone being scared of gravel? |
