I have a few question and I hope you can help me. 1) How can I enter the stone circle to retrieve the crown of chaos? I fed the rat with six artifacts, but I don't know where this place is. I found a place colled ancient stone circle near the ToHK but when I try to enter (pressing >) the game say "What place?" or something alike. 2)My char is at Lv 47, all stats are above 30, speed 160 (with light corruptions or light? anyway the one which increases speed and decreases a whole bunch of other stats) how many hopes does it have to beat Filk and the Scintillantig Cave? Should I level up to level 50 in the blue Wyrm Cave? In darkness there is a light, but you can't see it. |

1. You can only enter the stone circle during the night of Darknight. 2. What class are you? Filk isn't actually that hard to beat, he's just hard to hit (500 DV). One way to do it is to dual wield shields and kill him with missiles, because it's kinda hard to get within melee range with him (and he's karmic anyway (you do not want to be doomed on I:200 :D)). You might even wanna set your tactics to very aggressive or berserk, since Filk doesn't hit that hard anyway. Thank you Morio, I went back in the blue wyrme cave: I though there were many more wyrm left, but I was wrong I couldn't reach Lv 48. So I found my courage and went in the ID. Well the poor filk had a real bad day: I found him in the first level in a room full of skeletons. The skeleton started chasing me and they left a little open space next to Filk. With a teleportation spell I was next to him, the poor guy was trapped, he tried to chase me with some incantations but he failed. Then I burned him with a burning hands spell. Still Lv 47 I think. Then I went in the scintillanting cave, I passed the 8 level very fast. I reached the last colourful level, then I found the emperor. I couldn't hit him a single time with a melee attack, I shooted him to deaths. He was very slow so he was no problem, but I ran out of ammo... the I was careless, while I was trying to pick them back and he hit me: he stunned me and halved my HP. I though I was death. Luckily the paralization lasted only one turn. Next time I'll bring many more ammo. The I took the scrool to the sage and he gave me the trident. Well... So I need to win the crown of chaos at a darknight day (is this an easier quest?), then I can go on level 50 of the CoC and try to beat the chaos god. So how many hope do I have in these condition? I have 5-7 scrool of chaos resistance left, but I didn't do the bug temple yet 'cause they say I didn't die enough times. (Will some scrool of peace work in the chaos God Realm?) In darkness there is a light, but you can't see it. |

Let's spoil something: 1) In this game my char went from C to L+ at level 45 by healing monsters, although Andy William's guide saied that this should be impossible. 2)Before I got the crown of chaos I was lucky enough to set up the "infinite" wishing machine. So I maxed my stats before fighting against Andor. I hoped for "infinite" wishes, but I was unlucky at a point, because 70 ring's exchange in a row didn't go well. So I decided to stop, although I had 19 RoDS more. I was on level 8 of the Unreal Dangeon and at level 50. Is there a place where you have an higher chance to get RoDS this way? 3)I used a RoDS in the palace of Andor Drakon and I wished for speed, so I had a big speed boost. Maybe this can be useful for people who don't have potions of boost speed. 4)I read 13 blessed scrolls of peace in the palace of Andor Drakon... It looked like they didn't work, but I don't know how fast I would have been corrupted if I didn't use them. 5)Andor Drakon is quite a fool... I mean He is stronger in bright place and he cast darkness to let me kill him with greater easy. But I may be wrong on this point. 6)Just a fun question: what happen if a C- champion of chaos enters the gate with the trident and defeat Andor wielding the sceptre (or viceversa)? 1) I believe the guidebook said it was impossible specifically for level 50. 2) I'm not sure if the danger lvl of UD 8 is 8, but dipping in a lvl where the danger lvl is 8 eg CoC 8 is best. 6) He dies at the end Snwo aval ten |

Actually I got much more stones frome using cure critical wounds on a pet. Maybe the number of stones is higher if your pet has an higher level or your pet gain more HP from healing. This is what I did: I setted up a challenge between my pet Greater Earth elemental generated in the small cave with a blessed scroll of familiar summoning and a statue in the dark forge. The both of them were constantly demaged and I healed both of them (you get stones even when you heal hostile monsters). Two times it happened that my pet killed a non damaged statue with a hit. But with three statue I managed to reach L+. In darkness there is a light, but you can't see it. |

I was reading in Andy William's guide how a character's final score is calculated. There I found a big bonus for becoming a paragon of order. What is a paragon of order? Is that a champion of order? Then I found a bonus for winning the game with a normal ending. This bonus is proportional to MAX(0, moves - 50000). This mean that the more moves you do the more points you get. Isn't this strange? There is another strange bonus: it's proporzional to MAX(0, 300 - max. hitpoints) , this mean that the more HP you have the less points you have. This is not that strange since it's a good challenge to end the game with someone so weak, but who is supposed to end the game with less than 300 HP? Maybe a necromancer that kill himself after winning, but still than... the necromancer have alredy one so there isn't a true challenge. (In the same way someone may lower is HP after winning and increase his score). In darkness there is a light, but you can't see it. |

I would say to wait a few days first OT: Should Return of the Heroes should be renamed "Part I" given an ending like part at the down staircase on Khelly's level? The story is not going anywhere further after all... "If the bread weights that much in the draklor chain, then it's no wonder so many die of starvation.
