... and yes, the Moon Sickle was generated inside a shop. Didn't know that could happen... 2) Same game: unable to teleport inside the room containing the SoCR in the HMV... reason: a jackalwere was generated inside the room which summoned jackals all over the room... didn't know that could happen (#2). Did you have to pay for the Moon Sickle? Also, check the formating help for the PRE command - your screenshot is completely unviewable. Other than that... The only thing that can help you get that SoCR now is mindcraft :) OR a stone snake, earth elemental, greater elemental pet. (Possibly also ghosts) OR maybe a wand of destruction. Also, ball spell with high willpower. Lure monsters that can cast ball spells into the HMV (Have fun trying to do that with Nuurag-Vaarn!)? Can anyone think of other stuff? (I know, you can also just forget about the stupid scroll. But I like the ADOM brainstorming!) You drop the golden ball. You kick the golden ball. It slides to the west. Ball spell with first radius-increase would work. If you are a unmagic character the fireball wand could be used, along with enough potions of boost willpower you might need. They aren't that rare, and even though I save them "for later" I rarely actually use them (Well this one time, at bandcamp, I was going to clear a greater undead vault, and I took the chicken way out - drank my whole stash of em, and blasted the creeps with my 99 willpower. Wham) |

Those ball spells might ruin the scroll. But then again they might not, so give it a try. If you're feeling happy, don't worry, it'll go away. Well, fire definitely well. I've seen ice drench it and acid ruin it. So try lightning or try nothing (hehe...) Alternatively, try the wand of destruction, it's the best method here IMO, but be careful about nearby villagers. Actually, even Lightning Ball will definitely tear scrolls to pieces. There are no safe ball spells. The best bet would be to take care that the ball spell does not reach the scare the SoCR is on, kill a couple of jackals, use detect monsters, and immediately teleport into the the hopefully still free space. Slay the monsters, get the scroll, teleport out. You drop the golden ball. You kick the golden ball. It slides to the west. Suddenly Harry Potter, the apprentice wizard, appears!
